Art and Asperger’s
I have to say that drawing is not my son’s favorite activity. Neither is writing. But give him a computer and he loves to write and create. His writing flows more freely. He just learned to do simple animation on the computer and really enjoys it. Just don’t ask him to use pencil and paper!

Because my son is not alone, a lot of kids with Asperger’s have difficulty writing and drawing, this site may be of interest. It gives a step by step for drawing basic things such as animals and houses. It gives the kids a repertoir of things they can draw successfully with a formula. Ahh, rules
